Consolidation of Platforms to Yield New Advances

StudentVoice, fresh off the acquisition of Club Manager, has announced an additional acquisition of CollegiateLink. StudentVoice is now in the process of consolidating the best features of these systems with the StudentVoice Tracking platform to offer the clear market leader among student activities, involvement and engagement programs.

As with all determinations concerning the strategic direction of StudentVoice, this decision was made with very close consultation with many of our Member Campuses.

Through various work and interactions with student activities and student involvement professionals, StudentVoice has come to understand that managing student involvement is an exciting, and sometimes overwhelming job that is core to an institution's success. Student involvement and campus activities professionals are asked to engage students through participation and leadership, foster a sense of community, and assess program outcomes for dozens of experiential learning initiatives. This is a lot to accomplish!

Our partners in student activities and student involvement have told us consistently that they wanted a single platform to manage all of these responsibilities, but until now no such a platform was available. The integration of Club Manager with StudentVoice's assessment solutions, and now with CollegiateLink's industry-leading co-curricular management platform, will provide a transformational tool that allows campuses to accelerate student engagement while better understanding the impact of this engagement on academic success, retention, career skill development, and other metrics.

For current SV Tracking and Club Manager users, StudentVoice will continue to support Club Manager. However we encourage those campuses to consider utilizing CollegiateLink to benefit from a wide array of additional features and a student adoption-focused user interface. Most importantly, nearly all feature requests and suggestions from Club Manager customers have been incorporated into CollegiateLink, and as a Club Manager user, the seamless upgrade to CollegiateLink will be provided at no additional cost.

For current and future CollegiateLink users, there will be some very exciting updates and enhancements released in the coming weeks and months that provide new capabilities for student activities professionals, and maybe most importantly, for students themselves.
